My Biography:

I was born 26th of august 1986 in the island of Sardinia. My uncle is a violinist and i spent my childhood studying violin and music theory in the school where he used to teach. I joined his choir when i was more grown up but i didn't know how to use my voice yet and i used to sing as an alto. When i was in high school i joined my first metal band and it was when my bassist made me listen to Nightwish' album Once that i decided that i wanted to study operatic singing. I started studying opera at the academy of music where my uncle was principal and there i found out i was a soprano, one year later i passed the audition at the Conservatory of music. During the 5 years at the Conservatory i had the chance to attend to several seminars of baroque/spanish and contemporary music and to sing in front of an audience during concerts where i was accompanied by instruments as piano, cello, harpsichord and once by an orchestra of 70 children. I also joined two choirs, first the Corale Canepa together with i sang in the Opera Luisa Miller of Giuseppe Verdi and then the Santa Cecilia, together with them i had wonderful experiences such as a tournée with the italian singer Antonella Ruggiero where we performed "La Buona Novella" of De Andrè, a tournèe in Wales where we attended the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod and then the opera Poliuto of Gaetano Donizetti. Beside my music studies i attended university and in 2011 i won a scholarship to do my internship in Sweden for 4 months. During that time i made the decision to leave my life and my studies in Italy and move permanently to Sweden. It's in the beginning of 2014 that i joined my current band Unsanctus and,with them i started to experiment new singing styles such as growl and screaming. My favorite singers and main inspirations are Kari Rueslatten, Sharon Den Adel, Emmy Rossum, Angela Gossow, Mikael Stanne, Ville Laihiala and Vincent Cavanagh. My 2 favorite bands are Anathema and MCC. I am a vegetarian and i do what i can to fight for animal rights. I am crazy for rabbits and killer whales
